Slip-N-Grip®

  • Co-extrusion technology invented to provide superior seat protection and enhance durability
  • The top (outside) layer of the seat cover is smooth to allow for easy movement across the seat
  • The center layer can contain up to 70% post-consumer recycled content (PCR)
  • The bottom (inside) layer is formulated with a high friction plastic to grip itself in place from the time of seat manufacture, through vehicle assembly and to the dealership.

Slip-N-Grip® is also ideal for protecting interior and exterior parts. The inside layer of a bag can be smooth to allow for ease of loading/unloading a part and to protect from scratching. The outside layer can provide grip to allow for stacking and to keep the parts from shifting during shipment. (see parts bags capabilities)

Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) resin (see recycling capabilities)
• Extruded in the center layer of Slip-N-Grip® film
• Complies with vehicle manufacturers’ environmental directives
• Provides cost savings when compared to virgin resin

QUALITY

ISO-9001 registered and QS-9000 compliant to the 3rd addition

All OEM automotive seat covers and bags are manufactured and approved through the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

Our in-house quality lab monitors incoming resin to ensure world-class quality products.

Lot code traceability for production and materials handling history.

Physical properties of film are tested, including:

  • Tear
  • Impact
  • Elongation/tensile
  • Jog handle
  • Co-efficient of friction
  • Dyne
  • Gauge
  • Seal strength products

Contour Seat Covers

  • Top and bottom pockets are contoured to keep the seat cover in place
  • Custom designed to fit the shape of any seat
  • Prevents any interference issues when seats are moving through automated equipment and installation in the vehicle

Pouch Cover™ / Kit Cover™

  • Great for sequencing anything from: plastic trim covers, floor mats, headrests, owner’s manuals and even jump seats!
  • Eliminates excess handling and freight
  • Eliminates the cost and maintenance of excess packaging and floor space
  • Available on all seat types

Parts Bags

  • Our specialty resin blends are ideal for developing custom parts packaging
  • Can be manufactured perforated on a roll, on a wicket or with a draw tape
  • Our high “slip” resin film prevents scuffing to “A-surface” automotive parts

Silk Film Trim Assist Bags and Sheeting

  • Increases production efficiency by reducing the friction between the foam and fabric of armrests, headrests and seats
  • Manufactured at a very light gauge, eliminating potential appearance issues
  • Meets federal flammability requirement FMVSS 302

BSR/Anti-Squeak Bags and Sheeting

  • Used between the seat frame and foam, preventing buzz, squeak and rattle noises

Engineering Design Support-Part Design
  • Create and direct new designs in advance of product launch to meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Full engineering support from the prototype phase, during product launch, and through the length of the program
  • Early involvement allows for advanced shipping solutions
  • Provides primary seat protection and value-added opportunities
(see Pouch Cover™, contour and other products)

AutoCAD

  • All parts are designed in AutoCAD to create an accurate part and ensure manufacturability along with repeatability
  • Promotes ease of tracking design changes with an up-to-date, accurate title block for the customer
  • Specifies dimensional and performance characteristics and any recommended ASTM standards

Plant Visits earn the appreciation and respect of our customers. We provide service before, during and after the sale. Our Sales Engineers visit plants at least once per quarter to:

  • Identify VA/VE (cost savings ideas)
  • Support product launches
  • Propose new designs and prototypes
  • Review design changes
  • Ensure materials management process flow
  • Follow-up with PPAP’s
  • Meet with line-operators
  • Provide onsite support for program launches and design changes to ensure product success

Samples

  • Provide free hand samples to prove-out new designs
  • Address future design issues prior to mass production
  • Hand samples available for review within 2-3 days
  • Used to check proper sizing and location of slits, punches, pouches, etc.
  • Production samples available with a short two week lead time
  • Samples will be identical to normal production parts
  • Frequently used during preliminary builds and trials by our customers
  • Samples allow for changes throughout the design process and for results to be seen in a short period of time
